730 x 730 Challenge – week 2

After a solid start week one, i managed to get things into gear for week 2. I put pen to paper (or fingers to keyboard) on all seven days and managed to kit my word count on six of them. On Tuesday I have a pretty much uninterrupted writing day and managed to get down 2794 words.

The gloss was taken off that performance that evening when I listened to a recent podcast from the Self Publishing Podcast boys in which Johnny B Truant lamented a recent bad day of writing where he came off the rails and only managed a paltry 3000 words. There’s some serious perspective!

Aside from that I couldn’t be happier with week 2 of the challenge – up 2800 words from last week and on track to have the first draft of War & Quel in about four weeks 🙂
