So, yeah, erm, my Supanova Adelaide wrap is a little late (eep!).
What a weekend! Thanks Adelaide for coming out to support the event… and me.
As you may know, Supanova had put the call out to Adelaide people to rock up if they continued to want an event each year, and what a response. The crowds both days were fantastic, particularly Sunday, when John Travolta was in the house. It made for an awesome atmosphere and, hopefully, forced the hand of the organisers to keep the event on the calendar.
It was the official Adelaide launch of Apocalypse: Diary of a Survivor 4 and Zombie RiZing: Dragon’s Wrath (despite a sneaky earlier release of Apoc 4 at the Comic and Toy Fair).
I had a great spot at the top of the alley, on a corner and next to fellow indie author Kylie Leane.
Thanks to everyone who came to the table to say hi and hear me gab on about my books, you guys make my weekend worthwhile. As for those who purchased, I am indebted to you – big thanks and hope you enjoy my work. Special mention for those returning readers who came back to buy again or just to say hi – you guys are the BEST!!!
I can’t even tell you how much it means. Just so awesome!
I had my new table cloth some permanent markers ready to go – thanks for all the kind words you left on there by weekend’s end. They were all greatly appreciated, some were really touching. It really does mean a lot. Hopefully, it’ll get some other potential readers thinking, maybe this guy can write when they come by too 😀
So, for all the chat, the words on the new table cloth, the xmas card, the photos, the stories of what my work has meant for you (overcoming dyslexia, producing a trailer for a school project and general appreciation). Well, I’m author loved-up!
I have nothing else to say but thank you. You make doing this thing I love worthwhile. Oh, and your support keeps me motivated to write more.
