So in between science fiction epics Kings of the World and Apocalypse: Diary of a Survivor, I’ve been working with legendary artist Steve Grice, developing a series of illustrated zombie apocalypse books aimed at 8-12 year olds.
For those that know Steve, you’ll be as eagerly anticipating his illustrations as I am, for those that aren’t familiar with his work – check out the character from Kings of the World to get an idea.
I’ll be getting into greater detail on the series shortly, but the world and characters have been fleshed out and book one in the series has been drafted. Things are coming along nicely and we’re both pretty excited about the project.
