It was so good to get back to Brisbane for my third Oz Comic-Con. Not just the weather being a good ten degrees warmer than my home town of Adelaide that hasn’t realised spring is nearly a month in – it’s a great event.
Thank you to everyone who came back to buy sequels and new books, as well as those who took a chance on this indie author by buying one, or many, of my books. Exhibiting interstate is quite an undertaking and that support is just so vital and, well, appreciated. Big, big thanks.
I’ve been flat out getting my latest book, Zombie RiZing: Dragon’s Wrath ready for publication that this post has been delayed – sorry about that. That does mean, I have already had some kind readers from the event get in touch to say they’ve finished books already! So Awesome!!!
Saturday night was the traditional Author’s dinner, held a pub near the convention centre (my kind of dinner venue). Was great to see what everyone else is up to and compare war stories from a day of exhibiting! Anyway, great bunch and always good to catch up.
After all was said and done I had another memorable BRisbane Oz Comic-Con – my third. I’ll be back again, for sure. I even got a chance to spend a couple of days in your fine city post event – very nice. I caught up with old friends and help celebrated my partner’s birthday in style.
So, thanks again Brisbane. You guys are awesome and I’ll see you next year.
