With the sequel to Kings of the World well under way it was time I thought of a title for the collective ‘Kings’ series. After much soul-searching and more than a little help from friends I ave settled on a title.
But, before I reveal – did I mention I took the opportunity to update the cover? While I always liked the original Kings cover with Gricey’s awesome character illustrations and the ‘hidden’ alien in the background, there were more things I wanted to convey. I wanted to show the sense of scale and adventure the book has (and the sequel definitely has). I’ve managed to incorporate some of the alien characters Gricey has also illustrated as well as the 3D Dorsano and Comet fighters. The 3D version of the planet Fadilow makes an appearance in the background, while the city moon of Galactica maintains it’s foreground presence.
